FINANCE AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

Laois. Based in Portlaoise, we run a number of state and EU funded
programmes that aim to promote social inclusion, community and rural
development and increase employment and enterprise. We provide a range
of supports and services that aim to make Laois a better place to
live, where people can prosper and achieve their full potential.
This is an exciting time to join our developing organisation and we
are seeking to recruit a FINANCE AND OPERATIONS MANAGER to join our
team.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE ABLE TO DEMONSTRATE:
* Relevant accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA qualified accountant
desirable)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good understanding of the financial requirements of State funders
* Professional references will be required for this position.
* At least five years’ paid experience in a relevant role
* Knowledge and experience of computerised accounting packages
* Preparation of annual accounts
* Ability to lead a team and contribute to the Senior Management
Team
* A high level of ICT literacy including a proven ability to apply
technology in the workplace
